Circuits for Stage Magic
Hidden custom electronics I created for stage magicians. I can’t reveal who or how, but it’s been enough time to share a peek. Much of it was bespoke MIDI to DMX lighting sync or relay stuff.
My favorite however was this carefully tuned touch sensor light controller. Unlike an ordinary touch lamp, this was calibratable so it could be sensitive enough to hide the sensors. Plus, it has an encrypted receiver for a remote key fob that was gutted and stuffed into a hidden wireless foot pedal.
Off the stage, I once made a remote control for a light-up pocket scarf. This was for a magician client of Good to Glow, then called Illuminated Couture, who also hired me to design and program their animated LED products, as well as a fluffy LED video vest.
