Synth Uploader & MIDI Adaptor for Game Boy Advance
An updated version the the GBAMIDI project SpritesMods.
This board uploads a synthesizer ROM over the link cable, no cartridge necessary!
Then you can use the GBA as a USB-C MIDI device or plug in a TRS-A MIDI device. Classic DIN MIDI jacks will be part of the upcoming enclosure design too.

July 24, 2026 UPDATE: First-gen PCB is available now! Soon there will be an enclosure with DIN MIDI ports too. The next generation PCB has a pin polarity fix on both ports. Because of this, the first-run demo units have a couple bodge-wires.
Final release version is coming fall 2026! Stay tuned!
