World’s Smallest Rompler

I submit for your judgement, the worlds smallest synth with a battery.
Yes, I know there are smaller synths, but in my opinion they aren’t as powerful. This one for example is amazing, but it requires a keyboard with power. Mine has it’s own battery, and will give the keyboard controller power. Plus, the others are not able to playback samples, unlike this fella with it’s Dream SAM2695 sound module chip.
This is another easy one for you to try at home, because all you really need is inside the M5 Synth Module. I also used a very small lipo battery charging board, which does not output 5V, but fortunately after trying this with two different keyboard controllers, neither had a problem with a voltage of about 3.7V.
You can see I also broke off much of the board, and then soldered wires to the sides of these resistors. The case was once filled with antique phonograph needles.

The speaker fires out of the bottom. Yes, I had to bend out the hinge and tie the thing closed with a stripped breadtie. And there’s a lot of hot glue inside. This is not for you to worry about. Whatever it takes to achieve new tiny synth frontiers.
Curious how it sounds, but don’t want to do hacking? The same sound chip is also in the Akai Mini Play (original and mk3), which I also have and love.
